Mom, Dad and Sarah spent the night in Santa Rosa after picking Sarah up at the Mission Home. Tuesday morning we took it easy before we drove up the 101 to Sarah's LAST area, Willits, CA.  Willit's is a small town up in the forests.

Sarah's Apartment in Willits - The one right behind her.
The afternoon and evening were spent visiting the fine, simple folk of Willits.  Mom had made homemade caramels for Sarah to give to special people in the areas in which she served.  Our first stop was at the Walczykowski/Varian farm.
The people were so kind.  While we were waiting for the mom to get home we were invited to take a tour around the farm in their "Mule".  The just handed us the keys.

Our next stop was down a dirt lane to have lunch with the Warners.

After the Warners a visit was paid with the former Bishop (a great 'rescue' story care of Bro. Warner).  They lived up on Pine Mountain.
Many of the members live on a ranch or on a farm or on a mountain side.

We had dinner with the current Bishop - the McFaddens and his young family.  After dinner we made another stop 30 minutes up the 101 in Laytonville, for dessert - made by a professional dessert maker, Sister Hill.

The best place to stay in Willits, dad found, is the "Old West Inn".  It has themed rooms.  Wish we would have done it when all the kids were little.  It was actually a pretty nice place to stay.
Our room was the Livery Stable.  No - it did not smell like horses and we did not sleep on hay but on comfy pillow top, queen size beds.
